Born in Bari, Southern Italy, Vittorio Ragone comes from a long line of Antiques Dealers.

 

His great-grandfather opened what was to be the first of the family’s shops in 1880. Its subsequent success established the family business and set a precedent for the generations to follow.

 

At the age of seventeen, Vittorio was running his own shop.

 

After settling in Rome and opening is trading not just to Italy, but to Europe and USA, Vittorio finally moved to the United Kingdom and opened his own antiques and design showroom inside the Furniture Cave – one of the most renowned and historical building in Kensington and Chelsea  – and he began to trade worldwide his fine goods made by important 20th Century Architects and Designers.

 

From 2009, he’s specialized in providing bespoke designed chandeliers, cooperating directly with some of the most famous artisans in Murano, Italy.
